For Thinning and Falling Hair Malachite Tea Tree Rosemary Shampoo Bars

Sadly it just didn’t work out for me. I have very thick, straight hair and after using this for a week it left my hair with this waxy, greasy kind of feeling. I noticed it first when I rinsed and then when it dried my hair looked like I hadn’t even washed it. Pretty bummed about it because I loved the smell and the company.

I was really unsure about trying bars of soap. Especially a shampoo bar. I really don’t like how they feel on my skin and how tight my skin feels after rinsing. I have seen and read many great reviews on Birds of Valhalla products that I decided to give it a try. The scent is awesome with all 3 that I bought. I got one shampoo bar (Malachite tee tree rosemary) and two body soap bars (Fenrir gray wolf and honey moon). My hair is very fine. Used to be very thick but I have lost a lot of it over the years. It took me a little bit to get use to using a bar instead of liquid shampoo. The first time I used it while shampooing I wondered how this would rinse out? I was very surprised how easily and quickly it rinsed out leaving my hair feeling squeaky clean! I have never used a product that rinsed out so easily and left my hair feeling so clean! I normally use conditioner otherwise my hair is constantly tangled, but because of other reviews I decided to not use conditioner at all when I tried this shampoo bar. I don’t regret it and I have completely stopped using conditioner. My hair is clean, soft and I can brush through it with no real tangles in it at any point. My hair feels cleaner longer too. With traditional shampoo my hair was getting oily by the next day. With this shampoo bar I have not noticed the oily feeling between washes. I haven’t been using this for too long but I can say I don’t see as much hair falling out. It is amazing for my hair and I’m excited to try out some others! Now obviously this is the only my experience. My daughter also tried this shampoo bar out and ended up deciding it’s not for her. I’m very excited to try out their other products!

Since having my first child, I’ve been struggling with hair thinning. I have tried a couple of different shampoos and other products with no luck. Then I tried this and everything changed for me. My hair is finally making a comeback. As insignificant as it sounds, this shampoo has given me some confidence back. And it smells great too!

I loved the smell of this and was so hopeful getting it out of the box, but it wasn't a good match with my hair. I gave it about a week in case my hair just needed to adjust, but no matter how I washed or how long I waited, it left a waxy sensation on my hair. Passing it on to my sister to see if she can use it.

For reference, I have very fine, abundant, and oily hair.

I have super fine hair with a tendency to get oily. It is so hard to find a shampoo that will not weigh it down but this shampoo bar makes it so fluffy and have body. I barely have to use any conditioner and the scent lasts a very long time. I have found my holy grail of shampoos and I'm so thankful for deb and her team. Thank you BOV!!! Ps all of the shampoo bars are great try em all!
