Ragnar's Revenge is a natural, food-based, moisturizing aloe soap, handcrafted with a unique blend of refreshing and invigorating ingredients.

The Lore

Ragnar Lothbrok was a legendary Norse hero known for his warrior spirit. Although he stood for strength and resilience, he really only longed for one thing: farmland of his own. Thus, we named this moisturizing aloe natural soap Ragnar's Revenge to imbue it with his courage and vitality. The ingredients conjure the spirit of the farm Ragnar dreamed of one day calling home.

The Lather

Ragnar's Revenge contains pure olive oil, coconut oil, and castor seed oil; all known for their moisturizing and cleansing properties. In addition, we add several other key ingredients, including phthalate-free fragrances and essential oils:

Pure ground cucumber: Known for its cooling and hydrating properties.
Honeydew melon, a refreshing and uplifting fragrance which embodies nourishment, refreshment, and abundance.
Spearmint essential oil: Often used in aromatherapy for its refreshing and energizing effect on mind and body.

Made in small batches. Every batch varies in appearance, but each bar is approximately 5.5 oz or more. Our soaps last the average person 4-8 weeks, depending on use and storage.

Second batch!

This is my second batch of family favorites. Ragnars Revenge, The Raven, and Bjorns Brew.
Ragnars: this time, heavier on the cucumber. Still smells great...just different. Which will seem like a theme as this review goes on. Coloring is great, but it had no decorative glittery mica powder in the stamp image this time. No huge loss, but sort of appears "not quite finished".
The Raven: MUCH more fragrant than the sample I got originally. Again, no glittery mica powder in the raven image, so it looks unfinished.
Bjorns: 1st bar was heavy on the cinnamon and clove. This time, heavy on the citrus. Still lovely, just almost smells like a different soap all together! (However, I did like the heavier spice of the 1st bar.) The bear stamp also had no glitter mica powder.

I understand that small batch product will have variants, regardless of recipe, because that's reality. I guess I was just surprised at how very different these were from like, 6 months ago.

Not a complaint. Not really an issue, but curious if it's a change of style? No more glittery?

Smells incredible

This was a gift but it smelled so good I am going to have to get another for myself soon. 😅 I have used these soaps before in other scents and the formula works really well for dry and sensitive skin. In all the scents I have tried, nothing seems to breakout or dry out my skin. You can tell they use good ingredients. My skin feels so soft and hydrated after a shower with these soaps. They're definitely worth it.

A go-to bar for dry skin or sunburn! Feels like a spa day! Smells like a trip back in time to the early 2000s, when cucumber melon was all the rage....but more grown up. Don't go on vacation without a Ragnar's sample in your travel bag, and keep a bar at home for summer and winter!
