This pine scented soap features invigorating notes of juniper and bayberry. Longing to bathe in the scent of a mystical evergreen forest after a dewy rain? Then this is your jam!
The Lore
The World Tree, Yggdrasil, is an immense tree that plays a critical role in Norse mythology and cosmology. Its branches extend into the heavens, encompassing the Nine Realms, and its roots delve into the underworld. At its base are three wells which are the sources of wisdom, fate, and primal energy. Yggdrasil represents the cycle of life, renewal, resilience, and the interconnectedness between wisdom and the cosmos.
The Lather
If you're pining for a natural soap that goes against the grain, The World Tree is for you 😉. It's a pine scented soap handmade with a blend of olive oil, coconut oil, and castor seed oil to produce a rich, creamy lather. While it moisturizes and cleanses, it also looks unbe-leaf-able, with shades of green and black inspired by Yggdrasil's lofty branches. We created these striking colors using ethical mica and activated charcoal. Additionally, each bar of soap bears the distinctive texture of tree bark to create a fully tactile experience.
Fittingly named after the Tree of Life, this pine scented soap's revitalising fragrance will awaken your senses, leaving you refreshed and rejuvenated.Â
Olive oil's gentle cleansing properties help to remove dirt and impurities, and above all results in clean, glowing skin without stripping it of its natural oils. Coconut oil and castor seed oil also contribute to the soap's moisturizing properties.
Activated charcoal is an all-natural ingredient that has been used for centuries to draw impurities out of the skin.
Bayberry provides a slightly tart and fruity fragrance, with hints of vanilla and musk. It is said to bring wisdom and good fortune, as well as cleanse negative energy and provide spiritual protection.
Made in small batches. Every batch varies in appearance, but each bar is approximately 5.5 oz. Our soaps last the average person 4-8 weeks, depending on use and storage.
The scent is great - woodsy and mysterious. Love the lather, love the soap. However, a full bar barely lasts 2 1/2 weeks, and that's just lathering a wash cloth to bathe with in the shower. I rest the soap on a dish with raised ridges to drain. But it dissolves fast. Not sure a bar that only lasts 2 1/2 weeks is worth $22. That's quite a premium for a soap that dissolves quickly.

One of our favorite smells
Pairing the soap to the cologne amplifies the scents even more. Definitely worthwhile to use and enjoy the smell.

Great soap!!! It came with a free sample :) the smell itself is very piney, outdoorsy with something kind of fruity in there. I am, however, knocking a star off because of the AI packaging(especially because I recall this company saying they stopped the usage of it). The AI actually offset me a little, so im relieved the soap is as good as it was marketed to be!

The World Tree - My New Favorite Bar of Soap
I first tried "The World Tree" in the sample tin. There were so many good ones, but "The World Tree" was my favorite. Not only a pleasant scent but my skin can tell the ingredients are high quality and don't dry me out. Highly recommend!!!
