The Lore

In Norse mythology, Jörmungandr is a giant sea serpent who encircles Midgard, the realm of humans. This legendary creature was the offspring of Loki and the giantess Angrboda. He's often shown devouring his own tail, a symbol called the Ouroboros, representing eternity and the endless cycle of life. Jörmungandr also stands for the order and chaos of the cosmos, balance, and renewal. Accordingly, this natural soap is imbued with scents which promote a sense of balance, rejuvenation, and relaxation.

The Lather

Midgard's Serpent is a nag champa and blood orange soap scented with natural fragrance and essential oils. Often used in incense, nag champa is a traditional Indian scent with notes of sandalwood, warm amber, and floral notes of rose and lily of the valley. Blood orange adds a vibrant citrus fruit element that is sweet and uplifting.

Vibrant black, purple, green, and pink colors, made with ethically sourced micas, swirl together like Jörmungandr's shimmering scales. Additionally, each bar of soap bears the distinctive texture of his enormous snakeskin, highlighted with eco-glitter.

Olive oil's gentle cleansing properties help to remove dirt and impurities, and above all results in clean, glowing skin without stripping it of its natural oils. Coconut oil and castor seed oil also contribute to the soap's moisturizing properties.
Blood orange historically has symbolized vitality, passion, and life force. The aroma aids in stress-relief, mental clarity, and concentration.
